I’m Achiaah (A-cha) Mary, the founder of YAA&CO. BEAUTY, Australia’s destination for melanated beauty.

I am a Ghanaian-born, Auckland & London raised, Sydney living enthusiast of enjoyment (living life to the fullest). I’m home amongst adventure & deep & meaningful conversations that nurture vulnerability to foster authentic connection & belonging.

I am also a proud veteran of the “Aunties Are The Best Association” & kindly request for all current & future members to gather here.

I also love Fashion & Beauty, more specifically looking effortlessly chic within my means, Food (cooking & restaurant exploring), Travel & of course, Writing as it’s taken a whole heap of LIFE to get me to this point in my journey.

This love of writing (coupled with an annoyingly well-primed habit of doing things scared) is what has led me to start this blog, to journal my experiences as a survivor of all things that should’ve annihilated me, living abundantly on her own terms.

My hope is that, through journeying with me, you get inspired to live a life that you’re joyfully proud of.
